If you scored 10-15 points:

Your money most reflects The Samaritan Woman at the Well.

You are Strong! You are Brave! Your past is one of heartbreak and loss. And You are NOT Alone! Jesus spoke with the Samaritan Woman at the well with such compassion and He never once judged her for her past. He talked with her just like He would any of His disciples, and when He mentioned to her that He knew about her 5 past failed marriages and that she was currently living with a man that was not her husband, He didn’t even tell her to get her act together. Jesus knew this woman was putting one foot in front of the other and getting by the best way she knew how. He loved her and gave her the most precious gift: Salvation!!! A Fresh Start!!! Unconditional Love!!!
This money personality is one of survival. Not knowing if there will be ‘enough’ is a constant worry in the back of your mind. You may be struggling to get by on basic daily needs, or you may be struggling to adjust having come out of traumatic circumstances. No matter where you find yourself today, there is hope! And you are not alone!
Think of the Bible story from 1 Kings chapter 17:10-24. A widow with a young child had nothing left but a handful of flour and a small amount of oil. She was preparing to eat her last meal with her son when a Man of God came and asked her to give everything she had left. With just a seed of faith left in her, she put her hope in God. Her life and her child’s life was not only spared, but even more miracles came to them.
When we think that all hope is lost, there is always a reason to press on!

If you scored 16-22 points:

Your money most reflects The Proverbs 31 Woman.

Hard-working, humble and desires financial security for herself and her family. Financial security such as 401k, health benefits, etc. are important to the proverbs 31 woman. Knowing how to save or manage financial resources is a skill she has acquired yet she is always looking for ways to improve and learn so that she can navigate the next transition that she is facing. The Proverbs 31 Woman may be a survivor from difficult circumstance. She may be married, divorced, widowed, or never married but she is clearly the leader in her household when it comes to making financial decisions.

If you scored 23-30 points:

Your money most reflects The Naomi Woman.

Although financial security is important to the Naomi woman, it is not her primary motivator. Naomi is passionate in what she puts her hands to, and is working hard to make a better life for herself and her family. Naomi is an entrepreneur at heart. She may work for someone else, but her desire is to have her own business or ministry so that she is free to spend time with her children or volunteer more. She is okay earning less income if it means doing what she loves to do. Naomi is most likely to take risks in search for a higher reward.
Think of Mary and Martha in the Bible (Luke 10:38-42). Mary was willing to neglect her hostess duties and cause her sister to be mad at her, so that she could do what her heart wanted, to sit at Jesus’s feet!

These personality types are most often not exclusive. Many women relate to more than one and that is totally normal. I personally can relate to all three and know many women who can. What this personality test is designed to do, is to identify the stage of your money life that you are most likely in. If you relate to the Samaritan Woman the most, then you are in need of more encouragement. You may need some help getting unstuck after experiencing something traumatic. The Proverbs 31 woman might be coming out of that type of place but still needs some encouragement and help getting through a transition. The Proverbs 31 woman feels safe with stability and reassurance through working for someone else. The Naomi woman may have a job but her main source of energy goes toward her entrepreneurial activities. Not all women seek to be like the Naomi woman, but many do. Naomi represents a confidence that comes after experiencing something hard, but then learning that God provides as we follow the path He has set before us. She knows her source is not in any job but works hard to provide for her family in ways that may not be socially practical. Naomi needs the least amount of encouragement but she still likes to get it. She is the most confident and benefits most from encouragement that brings practical advice on how to leverage her skills and talents.
